DawnDawnDawn
A time between A shift in motion Of quietly gifted light
Colours and shades Hues and highlights A washing away of darkness
Greeting a new day Singing a fresh song A morning approaches

There is no DawnThere is no DawnThere is no Dawn
As the buildings grew Nights seemed to grow longer No light could filter between ever taller towers
The lamps hummed People bustled by and hurried Never knowing the sight of mornings coming
They lived lives Hidden away in false light Not seeing true light cast their way

No one was left Great buildings stood Towers a tribute to deaths humanity
Their eyes blind No longer alive to see The first light
